The sun is shining and you missed the last train back to Berlin? No problem, your camp buddies will welcome you with open arms!
The CampusCamp is an Outdoor-CoWorking-Space, playground for ideas, collaborative projects and events or just a temporary roof over your head for long summer nights. This little studential summer residence in the middle of the campus has been putting up it’s tents for 5 years now. Alongside your everyday student-life, the Campuscamp gives you space for an unconstrained exchange of ideas, thoughts and views with other students. In the last years the CampusCamp was the place where many friendships were born and projects initiated. Feel free – Everything can happen but nothing has to!

Your official AStA-associate keeps an eye on the colorful hustle and bustle in the camp and has a friendly ear for you – every time!
Christian Mosau
He is an old camp activist and every time in attendance. He is always ready for mischief all about Casino & Co …
How can you take part? It’s easy! Pick your tent and let it roll! You decide when you want to start and how long you stay.
There are two possible ways how you can camp: Either you bring your own camp equipment or you can use AStel as shared space. This white bell tent is the key part of the camp and available to everyone an any time. Additionally, the AStA provides you some basic equipment like sleeping bags, camping mats and blankets. Ask the confidential camp admins in which area you can camp.
Camping isn’t one of your favorite hobbies? Never mind! You can enhance the camp without camping – Either ideas for events, musical entertainment, workshops or creative decoration for the camp. There is always a way how you can participate!
Where students and professors meet...
We want the CampusCamp to be crowned with great success and continue to exist for many years. Therefore we have a little code of conduct for all those involved.
From now on until the Werkschau and Konterfei Festival (Campusfestival) you can camp everyday you want. But all good things have to come to an end. Therefore we ask you to strike camp by Sunday 14.7.2019 at the latest and leave the place in a tidy original state.
We have to note certain fire regulations and evacuation routes on the campus. That is why you can camp only in a special area around or near the AStel. The neighboring areas are assembly points in case of fire and must stay empty.
In searching for a pitch which fits the camp admins will help you!
To consider the guests of the canteen, please don’t jam the desks outside with your stuff. Whom wouldn’t like to enjoy the meal on a shady spot on the green field?
For your oral hygiene, cat baths and toilet the doors in the main building are open to you 24/7. The camp admins will tell you where you can take a shower. Otherwise, rent a Nextbike for free and take a quick ride to the Heiligensee and jump into the refreshing water in a beautiful surrounding.
We want the camp to stay an oasis of well-being and has an inviting look for everyone! So, please dispose your waste directly or give back returnable bottles and don’t leave them lying about. Also your other stuff shouldn’t be spread over the hole field and cleared out of the way, especially cups from Casino/Caféteria and dishes from the canteen.
In case it will rain (in spite of guaranteed best weather conditions) and you want to dry your clothes, please take care where you hung your laundry. Not everyone wants to have dangling panties over the lunch …
Whatever, please respect nature and take care of your environment – it’s your home!
Next to the FHP-Campus are living neighbors, who wants to go to bed at usual time. And maybe surprisingly to you, also some of your lovely campmates didn’t want to party hard every night … Please pay attention to your noise level from 10 p.m. on. We’re so sorry but unfortunately, the campus isn’t a festival ground but area of the university. Respect the people, take care of each other and give glitter & love!
Actually we assume, that there are no bad guys in the world and on the campus. It’s so disappointing to say but there are some – everywhere! And they’re trying to get rich at the expense of others. To protect your valuables from pickpockets, never leave them without keeping an eye on. For best secure, put them in an locker. The camp admins will try to assure you one in the main building, if it is needed. You are responsible for your stuff!
We know there is some campfire romanticism, wehen you enjoy the nights outside. But it is NOT ALLOWED TO MAKE A FIRE within the camp area! Your best buddies from the Casino can do it so much better on their fire bowl; ask them, if you can use it. However, if you want the fire department to take part in your private fire show, we will send you the invoice, letter rate included – we promise.
We wish you an unforgettable stay at the camp!
With lots of love and cheek pinch,
Natalie & Christian
